I’ve decided to stop procrastinating and get my ass back on-stage. I’m a very funny man, but the truth is, I need some reps. Three weeks ago I got hammered during a show at The Tampa Improv and pretty much made a complete douche of myself. The Improv has open mic in the front bar every Wednesday at 10ish, bad timing for a fat drunk asshole to stumble into from the main showroom where our show just ended. Plain and simple, I acted like a dick to a lot of young folks just trying to get their feet wet in this business. After piecing together my actions the next day, I decided I owed a room full of people an apology. I did that tge very next ooen mic, since then I’ve gone to every open mic at the Improv and rediscovered how brutal open mics are. I’m making friends, working out new bits, and feeling the stage under my feet(even if it is in the corner of the front bar).
